Product Manager – Security (AI-driven Code Scanner)

About the role

CodeRabbit is seeking a hands‑on Product Manager to own its AI‑driven security scanner that detects real vulnerabilities across codebases and surfaces findings directly in pull‑request reviews. You will shape the product vision, drive detection quality, and build trust with both developers and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define product direction and roadmap for deep code scans, security findings, and related capabilities across SAST, secrets detection, IaC misconfigurations, and supply‑chain analysis.
• Own the findings experience, including severity grading, dismissal flows, remediation guidance, and reporting, treating false positives as trust issues.
• Represent security buyers (AppSec, CISO) in product decisions, partner with sales on enterprise evaluations, and influence pricing and packaging.
• Work daily with engineering to set detection quality metrics, benchmark evidence, and make precision‑vs‑coverage trade‑offs.

Required profile

• 5–8 years in the security space, either as a product manager at a security vendor or hands‑on roles such as application security, penetration testing, or detection engineering.
• Deep technical fluency: can read code, discuss APIs, and converse directly with engineers without a translator.
• Proven ability to define and ship complex, technical B2B SaaS products.
