VP/EVP - Corporate Finance (Finance Controller)

About the role

We are looking for a senior finance leader to head our Corporate Finance function. The role will oversee record‑to‑report, tax, audit, consolidation and financial analysis, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, IND AS and IGAAP while driving strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes with full GAAP compliance.
• Oversee consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities and geographies.
• Manage direct, indirect, international and withholding tax obligations, including SEZ compliance.
• Monitor budgets, cost controls and financial performance metrics.
• Support capital allocation, investment strategies and risk assessment frameworks.
• Lead ERP upgrades (e.g., D365 Finance & Operations) and automate reconciliation and reporting processes.
• Implement system enhancements for multi‑GAAP reporting, asset capitalization and workflow approvals.
• Govern asset acquisition, depreciation, impairment and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of post‑qualification experience in finance, accounting or corporate finance.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CMA or ACCA.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 firm or multinational corporation is a plus.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and ability to manage cross‑functional relationships.
