Visual Designer

About the role

Wilhelmsen Port Services is seeking a talented Visual Designer to join its global team in Chennai. You will create high‑quality visual designs for enterprise applications that support the company’s extensive port‑call operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design screens, layouts, icons, and visual assets for web, mobile, and tablet platforms using Figma.
• Maintain and evolve visual standards and branding in collaboration with the Design Architect.
• Create and refine design components, styles, and visual patterns within the design system.
• Ensure visual consistency across applications and platforms, incorporating usability and accessibility considerations.
• Participate in design reviews, iterate based on stakeholder and user feedback, and work closely with UI engineers to guarantee accurate visual implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in visual or UI design, preferably for enterprise or data‑heavy applications.
• Strong eye for detail, visual hierarchy, typography, colour theory, and accessibility.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and testers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma, including component libraries and styles.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe XD (certifications are a plus).
