Vice President of Human Resources (HR) – India

About the role
The Vice President – Human Resources will be the senior HR leader for the company's India Global Capability Center (GCC). Reporting to the CxO at the US headquarters, the role oversees the full people agenda, culture building and employee experience while acting as the bridge between the US HR Center of Excellence and the India site.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as strategic HR business partner to India GCC leadership, advising on all people‑related matters from day one.
- Own and manage the complete employee lifecycle in India – onboarding, engagement, performance management, career development, retention and exits.
- Drive a high‑performance, inclusive culture aligned with company values and the GCC’s mission as a global hub.
- Act as primary escalation point for employee‑relations issues, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant resolutions.
- Partner with the US HR Center of Excellence to localize and execute HRIS, payroll, compensation, benefits and performance‑review programs.
- Ensure full compliance with Indian labour laws, statutory regulations and best‑practice employment standards.
- Collaborate on workforce planning, headcount strategy and talent‑pipeline development with US HR and GCC leadership.
- Build and promote the employer brand in India through EVP development, campus outreach and positioning as a technology‑focused employer.
- Leverage people‑analytics and HR data to provide insights on attrition, engagement, productivity and team health.
- Provide senior leadership and accountability for Facilities & Administration, setting direction and standards, mentoring the Facilities Manager and overseeing workspace design, infrastructure, safety, vendor management and business‑continuity frameworks.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a senior HR leader managing end‑to‑end HR functions in a large, fast‑growing organization.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership and act as a trusted advisor on people strategy.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour legislation and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience collaborating with global HR Centers of Excellence to implement localized HR programs.
- Track record of building inclusive, high‑performance cultures and employer branding initiatives.
- Ability to use HR data and analytics to influence leadership decisions.
- Leadership experience overseeing facilities and administration functions or working closely with such teams.
