Vice President Finance (Finance Controller)

About the role

As Vice President Finance & Corporate Controllership, you will lead the organization’s financial reporting, governance, audit, treasury, controls, compliance and finance transformation agenda, supporting a high‑growth, publicly governed enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting for all business entities, ensuring Ind AS compliance and statutory reporting.
• Own consolidated financial statements, drive audit readiness and uphold best‑in‑class financial governance and disclosure standards.
• Manage statutory, internal, IFC and regulatory audits, strengthening internal controls, governance frameworks and risk management.
• Prepare executive MIS, Board presentations, Audit Committee packs and strategic financial reviews, delivering insights on performance, profitability, cash flow and working capital.
• Oversee banking relationships, liquidity planning, cash‑flow forecasting, treasury operations and working‑capital optimisation across inventory, receivables and payables.
• Support IPO and capital‑market readiness, including financial disclosures, restated financials and regulatory submissions, partnering with investment bankers and advisors.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Sales and Product teams to improve margins, cost competitiveness and capital efficiency.
• Lead and develop high‑performing Corporate and Plant Finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability, business partnership and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Proven experience in financial controllership, corporate finance or senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in Ind AS, financial reporting, audit, treasury, taxation and regulatory compliance.
• Background working with listed, pre‑IPO, PE‑backed or institutionally governed organisations.
• Demonstrated track record of managing Big 4 audits and driving robust governance frameworks.
