Finance Controller – Operations Control Analyst

About the role

In this position you will lead standardized operations controlling and financial performance analysis across multiple global manufacturing sites. You will ensure accurate reporting, cost transparency and KPI management while collaborating closely with local controllers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide standardized global operations controlling analysis and reports for multiple production sites, focusing on manufacturing order performance, product cost transparency and variance reporting.
• Collect, validate and consolidate data from plants, ensuring consistent definitions, methodologies and high data quality.
• Analyze operational and financial performance (costs, productivity, variances), highlight trends and discuss results with individual plants.
• Support the standardisation and harmonisation of reporting structures, KPIs and templates, translating central requirements into practical solutions.
• Act as a central reporting and consulting interface between global governance and local operations controlling teams, and support ad‑hoc analyses and management requests.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in finance or controlling, preferably with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, controlling, business administration or CMA qualification.
• Professional experience in operations controlling within manufacturing, with solid understanding of cost structures, variances and productivity KPIs.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and solution‑driven mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively with global stakeholders across cultures and functions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or SAP BW.
• Practical experience with SAP modules (CO, FI, MM, PP, BW) for data extraction and report preparation.
• Interest in automation, digitalisation and AI‑supported analytics.
