US Tax Analyst (Remote)

About the role

StrategCube is seeking a full‑time Remote US Tax Analyst to join its finance team. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for both individuals and business entities while ensuring compliance and timely filing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct tax research on US tax laws and regulations.
• Identify tax‑saving opportunities and document positions in line with current guidance.
• Perform functional and regression testing on tax software for Federal and State return forms.

Required profile

• Strong US tax technical knowledge, including tax compliance and preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field; CPA, EA or progress toward certification preferred.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote work environment.
