UK Individual Tax Associate – Gurgaon

About the role

You will join our Global People Solutions team in Gurgaon as a UK Individual Tax Associate, handling complex UK tax returns and projects for a portfolio of clients. The role offers autonomy, mentorship opportunities, and structured learning to accelerate your technical and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare UK tax returns and tax computations for manager review.
• Conduct technical research using UK legislation, HMRC manuals, and firm resources to form tax opinions.
• Engage directly with clients and HMRC, maintaining accurate and timely communication.
• Drive the tax return process, manage deadlines, and prioritize daily tasks.
• Identify work‑in‑progress recoveries and propose additional fee opportunities where appropriate.
• Mentor junior team members, provide feedback, and contribute to training sessions.
• Build internal relationships across tax and other service lines to share knowledge and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in UK individual tax compliance or advisory.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a specialised team.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent client‑facing and communication abilities.
