Trip Planner – Customized Travel Itinerary Designer

About the role

The Road Tales is seeking a dedicated Trip Planner to join its on‑site team in Kochi. You will craft personalized travel itineraries that inspire self‑discovery and meaningful experiences for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design customized travel itineraries based on client preferences, budget, and goals.
• Recommend destinations, activities, and local experiences, focusing on Kochi and surrounding regions.
• Coordinate logistics including transportation, accommodation, and vendor bookings.
• Maintain accurate records, manage changes, and provide real‑time support before and during trips.
• Collaborate with local partners, guides, and service providers to ensure seamless execution.

Required profile

• Strong client‑facing communication and active listening skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple trips simultaneously.
• Willingness to work occasional outside‑standard hours to meet client needs.
• Prior experience in travel planning, tourism, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with travel planning tools and booking platforms.
• Competence in basic office software such as Microsoft Office.
