Trip Leader

About the role

Ronin Adventure is seeking a full‑time Trip Leader to guide and manage curated outdoor journeys across Rajasthan and other adventure landscapes in India. Based in Udaipur, the role blends on‑site expedition leadership with hybrid tasks such as planning, reporting, and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan routes for treks, overland journeys, and off‑road expeditions.
• Brief participants, lead basic outdoor‑skills sessions, and foster positive group dynamics.
• Coordinate logistics with local partners, conduct equipment checks, and perform on‑ground risk assessments.
• Document trips, support storytelling, and collaborate with content teams.
• Collect post‑trip feedback, produce reports, and contribute to future itinerary design.

Required profile

• Strong background in recreation or outdoor recreation, with experience designing adventure experiences.
• Awareness of therapeutic recreation to support inclusive group experiences.
• Proven supervisory skills, decision‑making under pressure, and leadership in outdoor settings.
• Excellent communication for briefings, conflict resolution, and partner coordination.
• Prior experience guiding treks or expeditions, preferably in Rajasthan or similar terrain.
• Basic first‑aid and safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Flexibility to work varied hours, travel frequently, and adapt to changing conditions.
