Treasury Analyst – Investment & AI Solutions

About the role

The Treasury Analyst will support Google’s Treasury function by identifying and executing investment opportunities, building AI‑first tools, and delivering data‑driven insights that guide strategic financial decisions. The role blends finance expertise with quantitative analytics and software development to enhance investment capabilities across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and execute new investment opportunities, establishing robust frameworks for Treasury initiatives.
• Lead all phases of investments, including due diligence, process design, project management, and operational integration.
• Prepare detailed documentation and concise presentations to quantify investment impact and advise senior management.
• Architect AI‑first solutions and tools, collaborating with Cloud and partnership teams to leverage Google Cloud Platform for financial innovation.
• Promote AI and automation best practices within Treasury, researching emerging technologies to continuously improve departmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Strong investigative skills, business judgment, and ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.
• Self‑directed work style, comfortable with ambiguity and learning new skills on the job.

Required skills

• Programming experience in Python, Java, Scala, or C++.
• Data processing and management capabilities.
• Familiarity with AI/automation concepts and cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
