Risk Systems Senior Analyst

About the role

As a Risk Systems Senior Analyst at ANZ, you will drive change across multiple workstreams by translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions. You will work closely with risk stakeholders, developers, testers and vendors to ensure stress‑testing processes and systems meet the program’s target state.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with risk stakeholders to elicit, document and validate detailed business systems requirements.
• Maintain traceability of requirements through design, build and testing phases.
• Develop test plans, test cases and govern their execution across UAT, Business Verification Testing and System Integration Testing.
• Coordinate with operational teams and third‑party vendors to ready new platform features for production use.
• Synthesize log and event data to perform root‑cause analysis of issues.
• Use Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint and MS Teams to create and maintain requirements, design artifacts, test evidence and status updates.
• Promote knowledge sharing and maintain a single source of truth for project documentation.
• Identify and actively manage risks related to requirements and testing, such as data‑quality concerns or downstream impacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business analysis or systems analysis within a risk or financial services environment.
• Strong ability to bridge business and technology teams, translating business needs into testable technical outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating testing cycles and working with vendors.
