Travel Consultant – Sales (On-site)

About the role

Smita Holidays is seeking a motivated Travel Consultant to join its sales team on-site in Kolhapur. You will work directly with clients to design and book customized holiday packages, ensuring a seamless travel experience from inquiry to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with customers to understand their travel preferences and budget.
• Prepare and present tailored itineraries for domestic and international destinations.
• Coordinate bookings for flights, hotels, transfers, and tours in collaboration with internal teams.
• Handle client queries, resolve issues, and provide post‑booking support.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and customer interactions in the company system.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel or tourism industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (diploma is a plus).
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
