Transportation Representative – Network Operations Center

About the role

The Transportation Representative works in Amazon's Network Operations Center (NOC), the central hub that monitors and resolves transportation exceptions across multiple regions. The role ensures timely pick‑up and delivery of freight between vendors, fulfillment centers and carrier hubs, while communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate information flow between carriers, hubs, warehouses and Amazon teams.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve inbound and outbound transportation issues.
• Escalate problems systematically to the appropriate owners and track resolutions.
• Analyze exception data to spot trends and propose process improvements.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication with external partners (carriers, vendors) and internal teams (retail, finance, software support, fulfillment centers).

Required profile

• Basic understanding of logistics and freight operations.
• Strong analytical mindset to interpret data and detect patterns.
• Ability to make real‑time decisions and drive customer experience without compromising timelines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
