Training Executive – Learning & Development

About the role

The Training Executive will plan, coordinate and execute learning initiatives for Nature's Basket stores and corporate teams. This role enhances employee capability through structured induction programs, functional training, product knowledge, compliance and leadership development. The incumbent partners with business stakeholders to identify needs, deliver effective learning and evaluate outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify learning and capability development needs in partnership with business leaders, HR partners and store operations.
• Conduct Training Need Analysis based on performance gaps and employee feedback.
• Develop annual and monthly training calendars aligned with organizational priorities.
• Facilitate induction and onboarding programs for new employees across stores and corporate functions.
• Deliver classroom, virtual and on‑the‑job training on customer service, retail operations, product knowledge, SOPs, compliance and behavioural skills.
• Support leadership development initiatives for supervisory and managerial staff.
• Ensure consistent training standards across all store locations.
• Create, update and customize training modules, presentations, facilitator guides and learning materials.
• Coordinate with external training partners and subject‑matter experts as needed.
• Schedule training sessions, manage logistics, venues, attendance and communications.
• Maintain training records, learning histories, nominations and certification data.
• Track completion of mandatory programs and ensure compliance.
• Assess learning effectiveness through surveys, assessments, quizzes, observations and post‑training evaluations.
• Monitor training impact on performance, productivity, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports and dashboards on training coverage, effectiveness and learning metrics.
• Collaborate with Store Managers, Regional HR, Operations, Category Teams and Functional Heads to implement learning initiatives.
• Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers on development opportunities.
• Stay updated on learning methodologies, retail industry trends and digital learning platforms.
• Recommend innovative blended learning solutions.
