Tourism Investment Project Director

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead tourism‑related investment promotion, policy development and project implementation. The role will work closely with government bodies, public‑sector undertakings and international funding agencies to drive large‑scale tourism infrastructure initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate investment promotion activities for tourism projects.
• Develop financial models, feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed initiatives.
• Support the drafting, refinement and implementation of tourism‑related policies at state and national levels.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement, bid processes and contract administration in line with government or multilateral funding guidelines.
• Collaborate with ministries, industry associations, PSUs and funding agencies to ensure project alignment and timely execution.
• Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized institution.
• MBA/PGDM or postgraduate qualification in tourism, hospitality, public policy or related fields (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in tourism investment promotion, project execution with government or multilateral agencies, and large‑scale infrastructure planning.
