Tour Manager – Self‑Employed (Day Rate)

About the role

Saga Travel Group is seeking enthusiastic Tour Managers to lead escorted holidays across multiple destinations in September and October 2026. Working on a self‑employed basis, you will be the face of the brand, ensuring each traveller enjoys a seamless, high‑quality experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalised service that boosts customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Research and enrich itineraries with local events, culture and hidden attractions.
• Facilitate a social atmosphere, including hosting meals and group activities.
• Ensure the programme runs exactly as advertised, noting any discrepancies.
• Anticipate and resolve potential challenges proactively.

Required profile

• Passion for people and travel, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work overseas or travel from the UK with the group.
• Ability to speak the local language and possess regional knowledge where required.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and able to represent the brand positively.
