Thales Key Management Systems Engineer

About the role

Join the cybersecurity team to configure, deploy and manage Thales Key Management Systems (KMS) for enterprise clients. You will ensure the health, performance and security of KMS environments while supporting the organization’s broader cyber‑risk strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, deploy and operate Thales KMS across on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Monitor system health, performance metrics and security alerts.
• Manage the full lifecycle of encryption keys – generation, rotation, archival and destruction – in line with policies.
• Implement and maintain key rotation schedules and security standards.
• Perform periodic key reconciliation and validation across multiple cloud platforms.
• Document key management procedures, inventories and control frameworks.
• Support internal and external audits by providing key management reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve KMS‑related incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in data protection or encryption key management.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (BTech/MTech/BSc/BCA/MCA/MSc).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Audit support and documentation of key management processes.
