Technical Project Manager – Application Modernization

About the role

The Technical Project Manager leads customer‑focused technology projects from initiation through closure, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, quality and customer expectations. The role coordinates technical teams, partners and suppliers while managing internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from initiation to closure, defining scope, milestones, schedules, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate technical teams, partners and suppliers to ensure timely execution.
• Track progress, risks, issues, dependencies and changes, driving timely resolution.
• Maintain project financials, resource utilization and forecasts.
• Lead customer meetings, governance reviews and escalations.
• Ensure delivery follows agreed quality, governance and contractual requirements.
• Support smooth transition to operations and complete project closure activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience managing technology or professional services projects.
• Good understanding of project management methods, tools and governance.
• Strong communication, organization, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.

Required skills

• Hybrid cloud, public cloud, private cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Experience with HPE GreenLake, Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, compute, storage, networking and cloud security.
• Application assessment, migration, modernization, microservices, APIs and cloud‑native technologies.
• DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing, monitoring and release management.
