Test Engineer – MBD, MiL & SiL for Engine & ATS Controls

About the role

We are looking for a Test Engineer specialized in Model‑Based Design (MBD) and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing (MiL, SiL) to support engine and ATS control software development at Bosch’s Bengaluru centre.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, verify and validate engine and ATS control software components using MATLAB/Simulink, TargetLink and TPT across MIL, SIL and PIL stages.
• Run Polyspace analyses, interpret warnings and resolve critical issues.
• Develop comprehensive test scenarios derived from functional requirements.
• Perform scaling and automatic code generation with TargetLink and Embedded Coder.
• Analyse and fix critical warnings/errors generated during TargetLink code generation.
• Conduct model/code complexity and runtime error performance analysis on production code.
• Integrate PT software modules and generate flash/hex/build files for deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, EEE or Computer Science.
• 1‑3 years of experience in engine or ATS control software development.
• Hands‑on experience with Model‑Based Design testing methodologies.
