Technical Support Engineer – ROV, Survey & AGV

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer provides front‑line technical assistance for ROV, Survey, C‑NAV and AGV equipment. The role involves managing a knowledge‑base, troubleshooting issues in real time, and delivering customized reports for operations and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve queries related to ROV, Survey, C‑NAV and AGV equipment using documentation and resources.
• Handle HLS calls for onshore and offshore operations while meeting SLA targets.
• Issue license keys for data subscriptions via C‑NAV tools.
• Prepare, revise and verify technical procedures and documentation.
• Maintain a technical database and manage help‑desk/knowledge‑base software (Peoplesoft, Business Intelligence, Smart Sheets).
• Create customized reports and dashboards for various departments and senior management.
• Identify trends, analyse data and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts (morning, evening, night & weekends) totaling 42.5 hours per week.
• Ability to work from the office as needed.
• 0‑1 year experience in support operations (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proactive, positive attitude with strong teamwork orientation.
