Technical Services Engineer – Avionics & Airframe Systems

About the role

The Technical Services Engineer will oversee the delivery and performance of airframe and avionics system activities across Airbus Flight Hour Services contracts managed from the Central Plateau. Based in Bangalore, you will ensure fleet reliability in line with EASA and national aviation authority requirements while supporting Airbus technical standards and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational reliability of the assigned fleet, complying with airworthiness regulations.
• Provide mid‑ and long‑term engineering support for airframe and avionics systems.
• Manage technical publications and embodiment policies.
• Conduct components and systems reliability analysis and monitoring.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with customer‑facing teams and the FHS operational holder.
• Escalate critical issues to Toulouse HQ, Customer Support, and Airbus programmes.
• Report regularly on performance, achievements, and improvement actions.
• Support interactions with local aviation authorities (EASA, FAA) as required.

Required profile

• Strong background in airframe and avionics systems engineering.
• Experience with reliability analysis and monitoring processes.
• Familiarity with EASA, FAA, and national aviation authority regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local and international teams.
• Proven track record of delivering technical support for complex aerospace programmes.
