Modelling and Simulation Systems Engineer

About the role

The candidate will develop digital models used for aircraft‑level safety analyses such as Particular Risk Analysis. The role involves close collaboration with system design offices to validate models and prepare comprehensive reports.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain digital models for aircraft safety analysis, incorporating change requests and system updates.
• Validate models in partnership with system design teams and perform model verification & validation.
• Prepare and deliver detailed reports on model outcomes and safety assessments.
• Collaborate with safety specialists during root‑cause analysis and contribute to methodology standardisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 2‑5 years of SE/MBSE experience.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering V‑cycle, aircraft systems and basic requirement management (ARP4754).
• Familiarity with aircraft‑level safety analyses (FHA, SSA, PRA, CS25) and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Advanced English communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SysML/UML and CAMEO Systems Modeller (including IBDs, activity, state‑machine and parametric diagrams).
• Experience in model development, document generation and VTL scripting within CAMEO.
• Basic automation using Groovy or Java scripting and version control with TeamWork Cloud.
