Technical Product Support Engineer

About the role

As a Technical Product Support (TPS) Engineer you will be the technical focal point for product performance, system reliability and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with engineering, product development, field service and customer teams to support new product introductions, resolve complex technical issues and drive continuous improvements for advanced semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in New Product Introductions (NPI) and Early Learning Shipments, ensuring successful product deployment and customer adoption.
• Provide third‑level escalation support for complex hardware and software stability issues and own product hardware performance for assigned accounts.
• Lead failure analysis activities, develop corrective action plans and drive design improvements to enhance reliability.
• Support Alpha and Beta site deployments, including installation, calibration, validation and performance verification.
• Review and initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) with data‑driven recommendations.
• Generate and present system performance data such as MTBF, MTBI, availability and uptime metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Experience supporting semiconductor capital equipment, engineering systems or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of hardware systems, software integration, product reliability and engineering change management processes.
• Ability to analyze technical data and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
