Technical Product Manager Staff

About the role

We are looking for a senior Technical Product Manager to lead platform capabilities within a Scrum team at Tekion. The role blends product ownership with deep technical collaboration across engineering, AI, and platform groups, focusing on event‑driven systems, agentic AI integration, and scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications aligned with business goals.
• Partner with Engineering and AI teams to deliver Java micro‑services, Kafka event pipelines, and agentic platform integrations.
• Coordinate with platform and infrastructure teams to define data contracts, API alignment, and seamless integrations.
• Track success metrics, adoption rates, and field feedback to iterate rapidly.
• Define author intents, skill specifications, and policy configurations for the agentic platform layer (PRDas‑Code approach).
• Design and maintain golden dataset scenarios for validating intelligent capabilities before release.
• Drive change management, adoption of new features, and automation using workflow tools.

Required profile

• 6+ years of product management experience in software development, preferably in cloud‑native or automotive technology.
• Strong understanding of event‑driven architectures and AI‑enabled platforms.
• Proven ability to work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience measuring product impact and iterating based on feedback.
