Team Leader Kitchen Stewarding

About the role

The Team Leader – Kitchen Stewarding will support the Stewarding Manager in delivering efficient, cost‑effective stewarding services across the hotel. This position ensures that all back‑of‑house operations meet Hyatt International’s brand standards while satisfying guest, employee and owner expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Stewarding Manager in overseeing daily stewarding activities and equipment inventory.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to provide timely and high‑quality cleaning and sanitation services.
• Monitor compliance with hygiene, safety and brand standards throughout the kitchen and service areas.
• Support staff scheduling, training and performance monitoring.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel operations, preferably in stewarding or food‑service environments.
• Strong problem‑solving, administrative and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel stewarding procedures and hygiene standards.
• Ability to manage inventory of operating equipment.
