Tax Executive – GST Compliance (AI-Enabled)

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Executive specialized in GST to lead end‑to‑end compliance, reconciliation and advisory activities. The role leverages AI and automation tools to boost speed, accuracy and documentation quality while maintaining rigorous human verification.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review GST returns, reconciliations, annual workings and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile books, GSTR data, e‑invoices and e‑way bills; identify and resolve exceptions.
• Review ITC eligibility, reversals, blocked credits and vendor mismatches.
• Research GST provisions, notifications, circulars, classification, valuation and place‑of‑supply issues.
• Draft notice replies, advisory notes, refund applications and client communications.
• Utilize AI for data extraction, drafting, review and workflow standardisation, with mandatory human verification.
• Build reusable prompts, checklists, templates and spreadsheet/automation workflows.
• Maintain proper working papers, audit trails and compliance calendars.
• Coordinate with clients and guide junior team members.

Required profile

• CA / CMA / CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent.
• 2–6 years of practical GST experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST returns, ITC, e‑invoicing, e‑way bills and reconciliations.
• Excellent documentation, analytical and client communication skills.
