Tax Consultant II - Global Trade Service + ABAP

About the role

Deloitte Tax is seeking a Tax Consultant II to support its Global Trade Service practice across major Indian cities. The role combines tax expertise with technical development on SAP platforms, focusing on ABAP for SAP HANA and S/4HANA solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement and deploy SAP solutions that meet business objectives.
• Align S/4HANA technologies and related tools with the overall business strategy.
• Collaborate with on‑shore teams or directly with clients to ensure project alignment and success.
• Review code written by other programmers to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Gather and document business requirements, address bugs, and conduct thorough testing.
• Document and maintain software systems for proper usage and future maintenance.

Required profile

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• ABAP programming for SAP HANA.

• Proficiency in requirement gathering, testing and documentation.
