About the role
EY is seeking an Analyst to join its Indirect Tax – Core team focused on Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT) clients in Mumbai. The role involves applying indirect tax expertise to support compliance, advisory and litigation engagements for TMT organisations.
Key responsibilities
- Apply strong understanding of indirect tax concepts to TMT industry engagements.
- Analyze tax data, transactions and documentation to support compliance and advisory work.
- Conduct tax research and interpret regulatory requirements related to indirect taxation.
- Prepare accurate working papers, tax computations and client deliverables with high attention to detail.
- Support tax assessments and related documentation for clients.
Required profile
- Demonstrated knowledge of indirect tax principles and their practical application.
- Ability to analyse complex tax data and documentation.
- Proficiency in tax research and interpretation of tax regulations.
- Strong attention to detail when preparing working papers and client deliverables.
