About the role

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to manage, support, and enhance its enterprise‑level IT infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring the availability, reliability, security, and performance of on‑premises server and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, maintain, and upgrade server and network systems.
• Ensure high availability and performance of on‑premises infrastructure.
• Implement security measures and perform regular audits.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Collaborate with academic and research teams to support their IT needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. IT/B.Sc. IT). Diploma holders with strong experience may also be considered.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems administration.
• Experience in an academic or research institution is highly desirable.

• MCSE certification.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• VMware Certified Professional.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
