Systems Administrator – Amaravati Campus

About the role

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to manage, support, and enhance its enterprise‑level IT infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring the availability, reliability, security, and performance of on‑premises server and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, maintain, and upgrade server and network systems.
• Ensure high availability and performance of critical infrastructure components.
• Implement security measures and perform regular audits.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Collaborate with academic and research teams to meet their IT needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. IT/B.Sc. IT).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems administration.
• Experience in an academic or research institution is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications such as RHCE, MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, VMware Certified Professional, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are an advantage.
