Senior Full-Stack Commercetools Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Commercetools Developer to join Nestlé Nespresso’s Digital & Tech team in Bengaluru. You will work on the high‑traffic Nespresso eCommerce platform, designing and extending solutions on the commercetools stack to deliver secure, performant storefronts and admin tools.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable eCommerce solutions on commercetools, focusing on customisations and extensions.
• Integrate third‑party systems, APIs (REST, GraphQL) and services with the platform.
• Contribute to testing, ensuring compliance with security and data‑privacy standards.
• Implement best practices for code quality, performance and security, and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications for speed and scalability.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in React and Next.js.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design and modern web standards.
• Hands‑on experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Netlify) and containerisation (Docker, Podman).
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
