System Administrator

About the role

The System Administrator will support, maintain, and improve enterprise infrastructure and operational platforms across managed‑services environments for Anovia’s global client base. The role requires strong hands‑on experience with Linux and Windows Server, as well as mandatory Zabbix administration expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and optimize Zabbix monitoring environments, including hosts, templates, triggers, alerts, dashboards and proxies.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server systems, applying patches, troubleshooting issues and managing services.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP across multiple customer domains.
• Virtualize and maintain VMware vSphere/ESXi or Proxmox environments and support Docker container workloads.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash/Shell and PowerShell to streamline operations.
• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 infrastructure support, incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Produce technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks and system diagrams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on systems administration experience in an MSP or similar managed‑services environment.
• Proven expertise in Zabbix administration, including installation, configuration, templates and integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and support a fast‑paced remote environment.
