Subcontractor Management Specialist

About the role

The Subcontractor Management Specialist will oversee the full contract lifecycle for EPC projects, ensuring that subcontractor agreements, service contracts, and related documents are prepared, negotiated, and administered effectively. This role acts as the central point of contact for internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to drive smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, subcontractor agreements, NDAs, and amendments.
• Issue work orders, track contract milestones, and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Interpret contract terms, draft project‑specific conditions, and provide contractual advice to stakeholders.
• Identify contractual risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Manage change orders, claims, and variations, including preparation, submission, and negotiation with clients.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, supply chain, insurance, and site teams for seamless contract administration.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all contractual correspondence, notices, and claims.
• Support dispute resolution, prepare documentation for arbitration, and report contract status to management.
• Lead and mentor a team of contract engineers, ensuring high performance and professional development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract management for EPC or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate across multiple functional areas.
