Structural Design Engineer (STAAD.Pro) – Gurgaon

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Structural Design Engineer with strong expertise in STAAD.Pro to lead the analysis, design, and optimization of mild steel and aluminium structures. The role involves ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of MS and aluminium structures using STAAD.Pro.
• Calculate dead, live, wind, seismic, equipment, and special loads as required.
• Conduct wind flow and pressure analysis in line with project codes.
• Design and validate members, connections, foundations, and support systems.
• Prepare design calculations, engineering reports, and technical documentation.
• Develop and review structural drawings and fabrication details with drafting teams.
• Ensure compliance with IS Codes, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes, and client specifications.
• Optimize designs for cost efficiency, manufacturability, and safety.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, fabrication teams, and site engineers.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in structural design of steel and aluminium structures.
• Strong knowledge of wind load analysis and structural optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, MBMA, AISC, and relevant aluminium design standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
