Quantity Surveyor – II (Infrastructure Projects)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QS‑II – Quantity Surveyor to support project cost management and commercial activities across infrastructure and urban development projects. The role will handle quantity surveying, cost control, measurement, valuations, and commercial management while ensuring deliverables meet agreed timelines and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take‑offs, estimates and cost plans for project works.
• Undertake measurement and valuation of civil, building and infrastructure works.
• Review contractor bills, interim payment applications and supporting documentation.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, variations and forecast final costs.
• Assist in preparation and evaluation of tenders, bids and commercial proposals.
• Review contractor quotations and support commercial negotiations.
• Identify, evaluate and manage variations, claims and change orders.
• Maintain cost reports, commercial trackers and project cost documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, design consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Support preparation of monthly commercial/cost management reports and contract administration.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Strong experience in BOQ preparation, quantity measurement, rate analysis, cost estimation and valuation.
• Good understanding of contracts, variations, claims and commercial management.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and contract documents.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with quantity surveying and cost management software/tools.
