Storekeeper – Inventory Management in Kandivali, Mumbai

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Storekeeper to oversee the daily operations of our stockroom in Kandivali, Mumbai. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing and safeguarding materials to ensure smooth inventory flow and support the supply‑chain team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods for quantity and quality.
• Organise and store items in designated locations, labeling and tagging for easy identification.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory software.
• Issue materials and products according to approved requisitions or orders.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock‑taking and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Handle returns, damaged or expired products following company policy.
• Ensure the storage area remains clean, orderly and safe.
• Assist with periodic audits and reporting.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or store‑management diploma is a plus.
• 2‑3 years of proven experience as a storekeeper or inventory assistant.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and physical stamina for lifting goods.
