Executive – Roster

About the role

The Executive – Roster will ensure smooth terminal operations by planning and managing workforce schedules for operational staff at APM Terminals Mumbai. You will prepare rosters, monitor attendance, and support payroll and training processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily and monthly work schedules for Terminal Equipment Operators and other operational staff.
• Administer annual leave, overtime, and shift adjustments using the Kronos Time & Attendance system.
• Monitor attendance, sick leave, and absenteeism, resolving system issues with IT.
• Collaborate with Shift Managers and Berth Coordinators to optimise manpower allocation.
• Validate attendance and incentive data for payroll and generate monthly incentive reports via TRU BI.
• Liaise with Training and HR teams to provide staff for development programs and maintain performance records.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in timekeeping or manpower planning, preferably in a container terminal or transport industry.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and numerical aptitude.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
• Familiarity with Kronos attendance system.
• Experience with TRU BI or similar resource‑planning tools.
