Staff Nurse – Patient Care Specialist

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients across various departments, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms and maintain accurate patient charts.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper bedside care.
• Operate and care for medical equipment safely.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a GNM, BSc or MSc in Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good coordination skills.
• Initiative, moral support and a compassionate approach to patient care.
