Staff Nurse – Patient Care

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients across various departments, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history, symptoms and vital signs.
• Administer medications, treatments and point‑of‑care tests as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patients' health status.
• Provide bedside care, education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper operation of medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork orientation and initiative.
• Ability to provide moral support and a compassionate physical approach to patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for documentation and electronic health records.
