Staff Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to deliver high‑quality patient care within our hospital setting. The role involves administering prescribed medication, monitoring patient responses, and supporting both pre‑ and post‑operative care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement prescribed medication and monitor its effects on patients.
• Provide nursing care in line with established clinical practice standards.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Participate in quality‑improvement programs and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing infection‑control policies.
• Perform initial patient assessments and timely reassessments.
• Check daily inventory of medicines and equipment.
• Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative care according to protocols.
• Provide health education to patients as needed.
• Supervise IV‑class staff in bedside care, waste management, and routine patient needs.
• Prioritize emergency cases and coordinate with consultants.
• Maintain accurate departmental documentation and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Adherence to specified dress code with ID card.
• Availability to work duty hours as scheduled.
