Staff Nurse – Experienced Registered Nurse

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients across various departments while supporting junior staff and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Attend regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Proven ability to assess health problems, implement care plans and maintain detailed records.
• Experience supervising department functions and guiding junior nurses during shifts.
