Staff Backend Engineer – Golang

About the role

You will play a pivotal role in architecting and building the core backend infrastructure for our SaaS products. You will lead large‑scale technical projects, ensuring scalability, reliability and performance, while collaborating closely with product management and a distributed engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement end‑to‑end backend features and micro‑services.
• Drive innovation by making critical architectural decisions and adopting cutting‑edge technologies.
• Mentor and coach team members, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
• Ensure observability, reliability and high availability of the platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience building scalable back‑ends for product/SaaS companies.
• At least 3 years of Golang development focused on micro‑services and distributed architectures.
• Proven ability to design APIs (gRPC preferred, REST, GraphQL, Thrift) and create technical solutions from scratch.
• Deep understanding of scalable distributed systems, domain‑driven design, load balancing and stateless architectures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑moving environment and troubleshoot root causes.
