Staff Accountant

About the role

Vantem is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its finance team. In this position you will support the company’s mission of delivering net‑zero, energy‑efficient homes by handling core accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial records. You will collaborate with senior finance leadership, assist in month‑end close, and help prepare for audits.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the company’s financial records on a daily basis.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Support month‑end close activities and audit preparation.
