Senior FinOps Analyst – Azure Cloud Cost Optimization

About the role

Zafin is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to lead Azure cloud financial management. You will own cost analysis, forecasting and optimization for Azure services, ensuring financial accountability and efficient resource usage across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze Azure usage and spend, delivering detailed financial reports and actionable cost‑saving insights.
• Develop and enforce Azure‑specific FinOps best practices and governance models.
• Build forecasting models, dashboards and budgets using Azure Cost Management and Azure Monitor.
• Design charge‑back and cost‑allocation models to distribute Azure expenses across business units.
• Conduct regular cost audits, rightsizing VMs, storage and other resources, and automate cost‑management tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in FinOps or Azure cloud financial management with a focus on cost optimization.
