Sr. Engineer Autosar Base SW Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to develop, integrate, validate and document AUTOSAR based software for master power‑train controllers in upcoming PHEV/BEV projects. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and requires strong expertise in AUTOSAR BSW configuration and embedded development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, validate and document AUTOSAR software for master power‑train controllers.
• Elicit, clarify and review functional and technical requirements.
• Analyze inputs, outputs and parameters and propose innovative design solutions.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level design documents, source code and unit‑test artifacts.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, QA, partners, suppliers and internal team members.
• Support functional and system testing across PIL, SIL, HIL and vehicle environments.
• Participate in technical and project forums for information gathering, clarification and reporting.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science or related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
• Demonstrated expertise throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, configuration, optimization and validation.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments and using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Required skills

• Configuration of AUTOSAR BSW stacks and integration with RTE/Application Layer, OS configuration.
• Strong knowledge of ECU and microcontroller architectures.
• Communication protocols: Ethernet, FlexRay, CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI.
• Vector tools: DaVinci Configurator, CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, Lauterbach TRACE32.
• Embedded C programming; scripting with Perl, Python and CAPL on Windows.
• Unit testing and validation (PIL/SIL/HIL), static code analysis, MC/DC testing.
• Configuration of base software modules such as IPduM, PNC, signal routing and CanTp.
• Diagnostics, communication and memory layout within BSW.
• Version control and configuration management.
