Software Engineer (Python, Appium, AI)

About the role

Motorola Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer with 3‑4 years of experience to join its Unified Communications team. You will help design, develop, and maintain automation tools that support broadband voice, video, and data products, leveraging Python, C/C++, Appium, and AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software components for internal automation tools.
• Integrate software with hardware systems to ensure consistent throughput.
• Validate and test code, produce documentation, and support continuous integration pipelines.
• Collaborate in Agile squads, contribute to code reviews, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving methodologies.
