Software Engineer – LOA Team

About the role

Addepar is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Letter of Authorisation (LOA) team. You will help build a cloud‑native system that enables self‑service onboarding of held‑away accounts for enterprise clients, supporting the company’s global growth.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality, efficient, and well‑tested code following best practices.
• Contribute to the design of scalable, robust, and maintainable software systems.
• Develop backend and database components across the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in thorough code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Apply DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline management and monitoring.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in object‑oriented programming, especially Java.
• Experience with both relational and non‑relational datastores.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and logging systems.
• Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Legal authorization to work in the job’s location on day one; no visa sponsorship offered.
