Software Engineer II

About the role

You will join Nike’s Global Technology – Geographies & Marketplace Experiences organization as a Software Engineer II. The role focuses on building high‑throughput, low‑latency, fault‑tolerant services that power Nike’s digital product data platform and order‑management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Modernize the product data platform, enabling billions of API calls per month.
• Implement end‑to‑end features from requirements gathering through design, coding, testing, observability, and support.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams in an Agile environment.
• Leverage AI‑first developer tools to accelerate coding and learning.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working in collaborative, multi‑disciplinary teams and cloud environments (AWS, GCE, Azure).
• Proven ability to deliver in fast‑paced, results‑oriented settings with global stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mindset, handling the full lifecycle of features and services.
