Software Engineer – Backend & Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust backend services. The role involves working across macOS and Linux environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and delivering cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize backend APIs and services using Python, Golang, and FastAPI.
• Develop and maintain real‑time communication features with WebSockets.
• Integrate and manage databases (SQL, NoSQL) and caching layers such as Redis.
• Write, review, and maintain version‑controlled code using Git.
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) using Docker and container orchestration.
• Document features, technical specifications, and API contracts.
• Collaborate with product and support teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort working in macOS/Linux command‑line environments.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical details to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to understand and implement detailed technical specifications.
